Governance

The operating structure of MECA Edmonton association comprises of the following organs:
1. The Executive Bureau
2. The General Assembly
3. Sub-committees

The Executive

The Executive Bureau at MECA Edmonton is made up of the President, vice president, the Secretary General, the Vice Secretary, the Treasurer, the Financial Secretary, the Public Relation Officer ,the Social and Cultural Secretary and the Adviser(s).

The General Assembly (GA)

The general assembly is composed of all registered members and is the supreme organ of the association .The general assembly meetings are held on the second last Saturday of each month except the month of December reserved for end of year come together.More so, meeting deliberations are always to start at 6:00 pm prompt and to last for a maximum of 3 hours.

The Sub-committees

These may be self-volunteered or are members chosen by the General Assembly or by the president and adopted by the General Assembly, to work on a particular project for the association.
