Mission/Vision
Our mission is to serve as true ambassadors of our rich culture thereby fostering a healthy community in the greater Edmonton area and also to Support developmental projects in Manyu Division while maintaining the vision to lead in creating a structure that is responsive to member’s needs, and that provides a platform for assistance in socio-economic development of Manyu Division to fulfill the objectives as clearly stated in article 2 of our constitution, but not limited to:
Section 1: Shall be, to Foster the interest and promote the cultural heritage of the Manyu people within its members and to other cultural and ethnic communities in Edmonton and surrounding cities. It shall initiate and encourage the development of cultural projects and activities in Manyu and Edmonton.
Section 2: Shall be, to initiate and encourage the development of socio-cultural and development projects and/or activities within the Edmonton communities and Manyu.
Section 3: Shall be, to provide humanitarian assistance (within its means) in various forms to individuals, families or groups of persons when need arises.
Section 4: Shall be, to work together to advance the civic welfare, and foster solidarity amongst its members and families.
Section 5: Shall be, to participate in facilitating the integration of new and existing members into ALBERTA and Canadian society.
Section 6: Shall be, to re-enforce solidarity with other immigrant communities and the local population in Edmonton.
